Robert Balick is a Managing Partner with BauMont Real Estate Capital and is the Chairman of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for management, strategy and the capital formation at BauMont.
Prior to co-founding BauMont, Mr. Balick was a senior managing director for CarVal Investors based in London where he led the firm’s real estate investment activities in Europe. Prior to joining CarVal Investors, Mr. Balick was a vice president in the Real Estate Investment Banking unit of Salomon Brothers in Europe.
Frederic Laurent is a Managing Partner with BauMont Real Estate Capital and is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Mr. Laurent is BauMont is Chief Investment Officer, heading the origination, acquisition, asset management and harvesting of investments.
Prior to co-founding BauMont Real Estate Capital, Mr. Laurent was a managing director with CarVal Investors, leading real estate investment activities in France. Mr. Laurent began his career with GE Capital, focusing on the acquisition for GE Real Estate.
Serge Maton is a Partner with BauMont Real Estate Capital. He is the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is responsible for fund structuring and operations.
Prior to co-founding BauMont Real Estate Capital, Mr. Maton was a managing director with CarVal Investors in London, where he was responsible for real estate investment activities in the U.K. Prior to this, he was a director at Citigroup, responsible for the execution of capital market offerings and worked in the Real Estate and Structured Finance group at Salomon Brothers.
Eric Salmon is a Partner with BauMont Real Estate Capital. Based in Paris, Mr. Salmon is responsible for origination, acquisition execution and asset management of investments in France.
Prior to BauMont Real Estate Capital, Mr. Salmon was a director with CarVal Investors in Paris. Previously Mr. Salmon was based in London where he worked at LaSalle Investment Management in the special situations group. Mr. Salmon started his career with Lehman Brothers in the real estate investment banking group.
Olivier Vellay is a Partner with BauMont Real Estate Capital. Based in Paris, he is responsible for the origination, acquisition and asset management of investments in France and Italy, and for managing separate account investments.
Prior to joining BauMont Real Estate Capital, Mr. Vellay was Head of Investments for Continental Europe at M&G Real Estate and Head of European acquisitions at MGPA. Mr. Vellay started his career with GE in their European Real Estate Acquisitions team before moving to Morgan Stanley, where he spent 3 years in the large loans team.

Natalie Harrison is a Managing Director with BauMont Real Estate Capital. Mrs. Harrison is Head of UK Investments, responsible for origination, deal execution and leading post acquisition asset management and disposals.
Prior to joining BauMont, Mrs. Harrison was a Director at M&G Real Estate where she held various positions including acquisitions, portfolio management and asset management roles in both the UK and Continental Europe.
Alexandra Podvin is Director of Technical and Asset Management with BauMont in Paris. Her responsibilities include the asset management for separate account mandates, with a focus on refurbishment programs.
Prior to joining BauMont in 2020, Mrs. Podvin was Senior Technical Asset Manager with Commerz Real France. Mrs. Podvin started her career as an architect with Valode & Pistre in Paris.
Mrs. Podvin is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Liliya Cheek is the Director of Finance and Operations at BauMont Real Estate Capital, based in our London office. She is responsible for financial reporting, overseeing the operational aspects of the business, as well as managing the implementation of the business guidelines.
Mrs Cheek has over 14 years of experience in financial management. Prior to joining BauMont, she was Senior Manager at Fidelity International, where she oversaw financial and regulatory reporting, as well as supervising the administration of real estate funds. Ms. Cheek started her career at Jones Lang LaSalle as a Property Client Accountant, before moving to Derwent London, where she was responsible for portfolio management and service budget reconciliations.
Mrs Cheek is a CIMA qualified chartered accountant.
Damien Pasini is a Director with BauMont Real estate Capital with responsibilities for origination, acquisition execution and asset management.
Prior to joining BauMont in 2018, Mr. Pasini was an Associate at Colony Capital working on the asset management of a European REIT. Mr. Pasini started his career in the Debt & Special Situations team at LaSalle Investment Management.
Harry Wentworth-Stanley is a Director with BauMont Real Estate Capital, based in the London office. He is principally focused on the origination, acquisition and asset management of real estate investments in the UK and Spain.
Prior to joining BauMont, Mr. Wentworth-Stanley was an Associate Director in the Development Land Team at Savills, where he specialised in the sale and acquisition of residential and mixed-use development opportunities in London.
Mr. Wentworth-Stanley is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
